SECOND EDITION OF „WARUM PRODUKTE FLOPPEN“ COMING OUT
Currently the second edition of the German Marketing bestselling book „Warum Produkte floppen“ is under editorial review at the Haufe Verlag in Munich. We are looking forward to the publishing in March/ April 2020. The book has received a widespread recognition and still is one of the very few comprehensive texts that deals with the subject of new product success.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON GENDER ISSUES AT „DOUGLAS“, DÜSSELDORF
The gender discussion moves on. On March 9th I happen to be (the only male) participant on a discussion panel about the portrait of business women in the media. Looking back at all the public speeches I gave so far, I probably have never been more curious regarding the development and the outcome of the discussion.

TALK AT „WIRTSCHAFTSCLUB DÜSSELDORF“
One of my ongoing research tracks is around psychological gender differences and the systematic application of these findings in consumer goods marketing programs. I am really looking forwadr to be talking about women and men, their differences and communalities at the „Wirtschaftsclub Düsseldorf“. It is the day before Valentine’s Day ……. a good fit.

AFFILIATED PROFESSOR AT EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL (EBS)
I am happy to report that I have been appointed as an Affiliated Professor of Business Administration at the „European Business School“ (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. I will be teaching my basic and advanced course on consumer-centric new product development in the EBS Master’s Programme.

LECTURES AT RWTH ENDED, WILL STAY ON FACULTY
With a bit of personal sadness, I have ended my teaching at RWTH Aachen at the end of this semester. It has been almost 20 wonderful years with great students whom I have seriously enjoyed. Thanks to all participants in all those years and I hope you stay in touch …. I will remain on the faculty of the RWTH Business School for the next five years, though.
